The work we do here matters.Department Overview The SI Program Management Office (PMO) supports the System Integration (SI) Team to execute mission critical communications system integration contracts within the newly created International Markets region for SI.The PMO establishes and maintains a services methodology framework and is responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and to provide governance, support and training to the SI organization.The PMO will be a multi-site team organised into four functions - Business, Governance, Support and Transformation. This position will be reporting to the International SI PMO Support Leader.The Support Specialist will be part of the International SI Support function providing back office support to the PM community, which allows efficient delivery of SI projects, resolves project issues and helps us gather data to improve decision making and business decisions. Other objectives include creating a standard platform for project implementation across business regions and key project functions.Scope of Responsibilities / ExpectationsThe Support Specialist responsibilities include:Technically support the design, POC, testing, and implementation of Workflow (Kissflow) covering:iProcurement Purchase Order Requests including invoicing where applicableRisk Release or Expenditure ApprovalsProject Start and Close RequestsCustomer Change OrdersInternal Project ChangePr-Post and SI-Service handover workflowOther workflows in development or to be determinedTechnical support and training of a Project portfolio management (PPM) software tool called PlanviewWhere applicable during Freight, Shipping, and logistics of equipment, support all documentation related to Import, Export, Customs, and any regulatory Authority Permits/licenses/Certificates.Liaise with 3rd party iProcurement vendors where applicableProvide and support Customer Manual Sales Invoicing/Packing Lists/Country of Origin Certificates and Airways bills where applicableProvide support/training for Project Management processes and toolsGather support data to help drive improvement initiativesSupporting Project Managers in reports, documentation clarifications, and general inquiriesBasic RequirementsSpecific Knowledge / Skills3+ years of project/program management.Experience in Program Management Office processes/procedures.Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications.Understanding of order management processes/systemsData gathering and presentation skillsUnderstanding local public safety customers, such as police, fire, and emergency medical services is a plus.Understanding of Import/Export controls is a plus and preferably a good understanding of Incoterms.Strong time management, communication, and organization skillsGood influencing skills are required as working with a global team across multiple sitesTravel Requirements Under 10%Relocation Provided NonePosition Type ExperiencedReferral Payment Plan YesEEO StatementMotorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
