• PMP Certified Professional with 5-8 years of experience in Project Management with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to closure.
• Domain expertise in IT, Construction & Hospitality Industry .
• Additional project management certifications (e.g., Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana). Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. A detail-oriented professional will be responsible for supporting project governance, monitoring project performance, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role involves working closely with Senior Leaders and other stakeholders to maintain project standards and methodologies.The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Project Planning and Management: Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. Develop comprehensive project plans and communication documents.
• Budgeting and Cost Control: Estimate necessary resources and participants to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals, recommending adjustments as needed. Support the tracking and reporting of project budgets and expenditures, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.
• Schedule Management: Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables, developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Define project success criteria and communicate them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Perform project audits and reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and project methodologies, providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Risk and Issue Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Identify and escalate project risks and issues, supporting the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans and issue resolution strategies.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the project's success.
• Project Governance: Assist in developing and implementing project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Ensure compliance with PMO standards and governance processes.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track and monitor project progress and performance against established baselines. Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Resource Management: Assist in resource planning and allocation. Monitor resource utilization and provide recommendations for optimization.
• Documentation and Communication: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and meeting minutes. Facilitate effective communication among project teams and stakeholders.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to project managers and team members on PMO processes and tools. Promote best practices in project management.
