Job Description


This position involves leading and managing the Project Management Office, ensuring all business projects are executed effectively and efficiently, within a professional business services setting.PMO, Ahmedabad, Utilities / Conglomerate:

  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define transition project.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals and minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Planning project management activities, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Engage with business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and foster positive relationships with all parties involved.
  • Gather feedback from teams and stakeholders, identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
  • Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive awareness, understanding, and alignment regarding transformative changes.
  • Ensure the centrally defined change & communications approach and tools are applied appropriately across the project and are modified as appropriate.
  • Direct and manage the PMO, aligning with the company\'s strategic goals.
  • Implement project standards across all projects in the portfolio.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.
  • Implement and provide direction and oversight for all aspects of project management.
  • Oversee the development of an effective strategy for the implementation of business solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring any issues are identified and dealt with appropriately.
  • Work closely with other department heads to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs.

  • 10-12 years of experience with 5 years in a PMO role in Transition Management function in diversified GCC / GBS / SSC environment.
  • Deep subject matter expert in project change and communication management.
  • Proven track record of delivering transformational change on multiple large-scale transformation initiatives across functions and businesses in a conglomerate environment.
  • Strong understanding of enabling people go through the change process.
  • Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • PM certification is preferred.
  • Open to Ahmedabad as a location, as it is a Work From Office role.
