Job Title: PMC Engineer (MEP)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Engineer (MEP) to oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of a large-scale industrial project. The ideal candidate will have a strong MEP background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to lead and coordinate complex projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop comprehensive MEP project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.

Oversee the execution of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Coordinate with the client, architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems as per the overall project design.

Quality Assurance and Control:

Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of MEP installations.

Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Manage the resolution of any quality issues or non-compliance incidents.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

Lead a team of MEP engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.

Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among project participants.

Conduct regular progress meetings and provide updates to senior management.

Technical Expertise and Problem Solving:

Utilize in-depth knowledge of MEP systems to provide technical guidance and solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Ensure the implementation of best practices and innovative technologies in MEP systems.

Project Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and technical submittals.

Prepare and present detailed project status reports to clients and senior management.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of project deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Experience:

The candidate shall have hands on experience of MEP project management in large-scale industrial projects with a minimum of 10 years for a bachelor's or 12-15 years for a diploma holder.

Proven track record of successfully managing MEP systems for industrial facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to MEP systems.

Exposure to MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc.).

Project Management Skills:

Excellent project planning and scheduling,

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Problem-Solving Abilities:

Analytical thinking and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
