Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee plumbing operations at our project site in Goa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Management:
• Oversee daily plumbing activities, including the installation, testing, and repair of water supply, drainage, and other plumbing systems.
• Manage a team of plumbers, distributing tasks based on skill level and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress to ensure that plumbing work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure plumbing work complies with project specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.
• Ensure that all work is carried out as per approved plumbing plans and blueprints.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the plumbing work.
• Safety Compliance:
• Enforce safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety training and ensure that all team members are aware of the proper use of tools and safety equipment.
• Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Coordination and Reporting:
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other site supervisors to ensure seamless integration of plumbing work with other trades.
• Provide regular updates on work progress, challenges, and any incidents to the project manager.
• Maintain accurate records of all plumbing work, including inspections, materials used, and labor hours.
• Inventory and Resource Management:
• Monitor the usage of plumbing materials and equipment, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Order necessary supplies and materials to avoid project delays.
• Ensure that all plumbing tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualifications:
• Diploma or certification in Plumbing or a related field.
• Additional certification in plumbing safety or similar qualifications is preferred.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Plumbing Supervisor, with a strong background in managing plumbing operations on construction sites.
• Experience in supervising teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting plumbing plans and blueprints.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?37,591.22 - ?40,043.27 per month
