Job Description

Responsibilities:
Patient Care:Oversee the medical care provided to patients within the region/ward
Ensure that patients receive appropriate and timely medical attention
Supervise and review patient diagnosis, treatment, and overall care plans
Staff Management:Recruit, train, and supervise medical staff within the region/ward
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to medical personnel
Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
Quality Assurance:Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high medical standards
Ensure compliance with medical protocols, regulations, and ethical standards
Investigate and address patient complaints and incidents related to medical care
Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, administrators, and departments to improve patient care processes
Facilitate communication between medical staff, patients, and their families
Participate in meetings, committees, and initiatives related to healthcare quality and improvement
Administrative Duties:Manage medical supplies, equipment, and pharmaceuticals within the region/ward
Prepare and manage budgets related to medical services
Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care, staff, and budgets
Emergency Response:Develop and implement emergency response protocols within the region/ward
Coordinate medical teams and resources during emergencies and disasters
