Designation: Plating Engineer

Qualifications: Diploma or BE in Chemical Engineering

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in plating or a related field

Salary: ?25,000 to ?30,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Plating Operations:
• Supervise and oversee plating operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Maintain and operate plating equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor the plating process to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct regular inspections of plated products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to plating defects or inconsistencies.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to minimize defects and improve overall quality.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct safety training sessions for team members and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Implement best practices and innovative techniques to enhance plating operations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and test new plating methods.
• Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform routine maintenance on plating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repair and servicing of machinery.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of plating processes and quality control measures.
• Generate regular reports on production output, quality metrics, and process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding production status and issues.
