Here, you will feel welcomed, respected, and valued as an important contributor to our diverse team.OBJECTIVES/PURPOSEDevelop and execute the platform strategy in alignment with the company's overall business objectivesManage assigned resources responsible for effectively maintaining, enhancing, configuring, implementing and testing platform and system functionality triggered by projects, change requests and future needsDevelop, configure and manage Finance platforms, solutions, applications, processes and systems within scope according to business requirements and increases the value of the application to the finance business communityLeading international project teams of experienced internal and external specialists or support projects as project team memberResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize platform features and enhancementsManage application and platform development process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing and deploymentIdentifies and investigates operational needs and problems, and opportunities, contributing to the implementation of improvements within area of responsibility. Advises stakeholders on improvements that increase value of applications.Maintain a high level of up-to-date expertise in the area of Finance platforms and systems, including state-of-art approaches, methodologies and emerging technologies.Ensure that application/platform meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders, and that it is scalable, reliable, and secureMonitor application/platform performance and identify opportunities for improvementStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in platform development and managementProvide support to ensure all operational and project based commitments are deliveredProvide support to ensure that the Finance systems are fully available to support Reporting, Planning and Analysis requirementsProvide support to ensure adequate IT support is available during Finance Business Processes (month, quarterly, yearend close, MYC, MRP) and IT issues are resolved in a timely mannerCollaborate and partner with various stakeholders (External service provider, DD&T, Business and other 3rd parties) to implement and deliver system improvements and opportunitiesProvide hand-on solutions and advise to support the business needsEnsure compliance with Takeda DD&T frameworks, policies and standards (like Project Governance, Architecture, QA, security, SDLC, SOX and service transition)Maintain current knowledge and related toolsActs as Technical expert on all assigned projects and systems.Designs/builds/deploys complex data models.Ensures execution and documentation to Takeda Quality Management System (QMS), suggest adjustments to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and other standards, policies and procedures.Work independently on tough problems with other team members and independently solve, with some guidance, very difficult technology problems.Represent the team while working on project across BU and BNDC teams.
