• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and SDKs using JavaScript. Ensure the seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchanges between frontend, platform, and Azure-based data systems.
• The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of JavaScript, C# , .NET, SQL, and Azure with a good knowledge of API development in general.
• Working with APIs to pull data from different web platforms and mobile apps and push data to downstream applications and to Azure Data Lake.
• Deploying applications to Azure DevOps for managing source code repositories, building, and releasing applications, and implementing continuous integration and delivery processes (CI/CD).
• Implementing unit tests, perform integration testing, and debug applications to ensure code quality, identify and fix issues, and improve overall reliability pre- and post-deployment.
• Implementing DevOps efficiencies where possible using a combination of third-party SaaS and PaaS products and custom developed tools.
• Sharing support and operational duties within the team.
• Translating architecture designs into technical implementations.
• Working with multiple development teams on ensuring standard implementation of our data services.
• Develop, implement, and maintain relevant documentation, guidelines, checklists, and policies to promote continuous integration, ensure and improve data security, and reduce the possibility of \xe2\x80\x9chuman error\xe2\x80\x9d.
• Working closely with end-users to understand their business and their data requirements.

Core skills and knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience in a cross section of application environments with strong focus on software engineering and digital marketing and analytics systems integration.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, .NET Core, C#, SQL
• Knowledge of front-end web technologies (i.e. Angular/React) preferably Angular.
• Experience with API frameworks and technologies, such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, or gRPC.
• Solid understanding of API security principles, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
• Has a good understanding of 3rd party data collection and digital marketing tools.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with Cloud Platforms. (preferably Azure)
• Understanding of web application security concepts, such as Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and the ability to integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms into applications using Azure AD, data validation, and protection against common vulnerabilities.
• Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure Web Apps, Azure Active Directory, Docker, All Testing Paradigms and Test Automation
• Understanding of systems development, project management approaches.
• Experience in using source control, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Involved in architecting fit-for-purpose solutions and making complex technical and design decisions for projects
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn modern technologies, keep up with industry trends, and adapt to evolving development practices and tools.
• Data Engineering skills would be an added advantage
• Knowledge and experience on Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target would be advantageous
