### Your role:



As a Gooten Platform Engineer, you'll join a close-knit group of Platform Engineers and Software Engineers. At Gooten you will play a pivotal role in building, automating, and maintaining our core infrastructure and development platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and scalability of our platform while collaborating closely with development teams to streamline the software delivery process.



We're looking for an experienced Platform Engineer who is passionate about best practices for cloud computing and storage. The ideal candidate will be motivated and extremely knowledgeable about developer operations engineering and utilizing cloud services to deliver high quality infrastructure for software systems. This is a fully remote role.


### Key responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to manage and provision infrastructure (including servers, networking, and storage).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.
• Monitor platform health and performance, proactively identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and implement logging and monitoring solutions (Datadog preferred).
• Partner with development teams to understand their needs and ensure the platform meets their requirements.
• Solving tickets that come from different teams in the company (Growth, Operations, Partner Support) ensuring clarity to them.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies to improve our platform.

### Minimum qualifications:


• 5 + years of experience in scripting languages (bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go).
• 5+ years of experience in building and deploying applications (C#, JavaScript [Node.js, TypeScript, React).
• 5+ years of experience with consuming and integrating with RESTful APIs.
• A strong understanding of infrastructure and system administration concepts.
• Experience in companies with transactional processes.

### Bonus qualifications:


• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes (k8s)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, GCP)
• Experience implementing logging and monitoring solutions (Datadog preferred)
• Experience with B2B companies
• Experience in e-commerce companies.
