Job Description

of Plastic Molding Shift Incharge

(1.) Manage the overall activities of the molding department including but not limited to production, processing, machine maintenance and tool maintenance and repair.

(2.) Direct and coordinate planning and scheduling of molding manufacturing with the Upper-Level Management to consistently meet expected product delivery schedules and inventory levels.

(3.) Responsible for assuring the efficient use of materials, machines, molds, auxiliary equipment and employees.

(4.) Responsible for the development and implementation of both the long- and short-term goals for the Molding Department.

(5.) Perform mold set up and color changes to meet production demands as needed.

(6.) Troubleshoot mold processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment problems and make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime.

(7.) Set molding process parameters to ensure product meets dimensional and quality requirements.

(8.) Provide technical assistance to molding technicians and operators

(9.) Maintain employee performance review, training, development and disciplinary programs.

(10.) Provide leadership in the maintenance of all operational systems and process controls associated with mold processing, mold maintenance, equipment maintenance and repair. (Documented mold set ups, process intervention logs, product dimensional and visual evaluations supporting product requirements, product validations, etc.).

(11.) Assure compliance to all molding area related procedures, policies and work instructions.

(12.) Participate in and support the Quality Management System.

(13.) Train and develop molding personnel relative to the molding process (Process technicians and molding operators), promote employee understanding and adherence to safety regulations and the Quality Management System.

(14.) Document, report and maintain all critical production information.

(15.) Support new tool design and development.

(16.) Coordinate with toolroom for repair and sourcing mold spares.

Qualifications

Diploma/ B-Tech from CIPET in Plastic Technology/DPMT

Experience

Minimum of 7 years Plastic Injection Molding experience with at least 3 years in a lead technical or mold department management role.

Salary :- Rs.18,000/- to Rs.30,000/- per month.

Job Type: Full-time
