Roles and Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:
• Set up, operate, and monitor plasma cutting machines to cut and shape metal sheets and plates as per production specifications.
• Adjust machine settings, such as speed, voltage, and amperage, for optimal performance.
• Blueprint Interpretation:
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine cutting paths and dimensions.
• Ensure precise adherence to specified measurements and tolerances.
• Material Handling:
• Load and unload metal sheets or plates onto the machine table using appropriate tools or lifting devices.
• Ensure the material is properly aligned for cutting operations.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform necessary adjustments to maintain precision and avoid defects.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the plasma machine to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues during operation.
• Safety Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to reduce hazards.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job orders, material usage, and completed parts.
• Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor or maintenance team promptly.
• Collaboration:
• Coordinate with the production team to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Provide feedback to improve cutting techniques or optimize machine performance.
• Efficiency Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce material wastage.
• Suggest process enhancements or new methods to increase operational efficiency.
• Training Support:
• Assist in training new operators on plasma machine operations and safety practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC or automated plasma cutting machines.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and accuracy.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and handle heavy materials safely.
• Experience: Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication or plasma cutting operations is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
