Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Operation of Dairy Processing Equipment : Operate machinery such as pasteurizers, homogenizers, separators, and filling machines to produce dairy products.
• Monitor Production : Oversee the production process, adjusting parameters (e.g., temperature, flow rate, pressure) to meet product specifications and ensure smooth operations.
• Quality Control : Conduct routine checks and inspections of equipment and dairy products to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards. Perform tests such as temperature checks, pH testing, and consistency measurements.
• Maintenance : Perform minor maintenance on equipment to ensure it runs efficiently, troubleshoot issues, and report major faults to the maintenance team.
• Sanitation : Follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain plant hygiene and prevent contamination.
• Inventory Management : Assist in managing inventory of raw materials (milk, cream, etc.), packaging materials, and finished products.
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere to workplace safety regulations and environmental standards, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with health codes.
• Recordkeeping : Document production data, maintenance activities, quality control tests, and inventory levels.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with other operators, supervisors, and team members to meet production targets and resolve operational issues.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require an associate degree in food science, dairy technology, or related field).
• Experience : Prior experience in dairy processing or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Technical Skills : Familiarity with dairy processing equipment, basic understanding of milk and dairy product formulations, and knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
