JOB DESCRIPTION/CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

. Oversee daily operations of the municipal solid waste facility, ensuring efficient and safe processing of waste materials.

Supervise and coordinate staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste management and environmental protection.

Monitor and maintain equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.

Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect employees and the environment.

Manage inventory of supplies and materials needed for facility operations.

Collaborate with local government, community stakeholders, and environmental organizations to promote sustainable waste management practices.

Prepare reports and documentation for management and regulatory agencies.

Implement waste reduction and recycling initiatives to promote sustainability within the community.

QUALIFICATION:

Graduate (Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation or equivalent)

EXPERIENCE:

A total of 3 years' experience in project management, plant management or in any relevant field in supervisory role.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Proper understanding of waste management regulations and practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.

LANGUAGE:

English (Preferred) along with other vernacular languages

JOB LOCATION:

Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh

REMUNERATION:

Negotiable and best as per industry standard
