FunctionQualityPay BandE4 to M2RoleAs the Plant SQA Group Lead Engine you will be part of the Quality and will report to thePlant SQA Head.The purpose of your role will be to Ensure defect free supplies of incoming parts through implementation of stringent QA policies, system and procedures at Suppliers and at HMCL plants for internal and external customer delight.A purpose driven role for youYour key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:1. Ensure timely addressal of internal & external customer issues (Warranty, CID, BOSF, BOP, FI Defects, KD)- Analysis & Countermeasure implementation- Execution of Improvement Projects2. Strengthen supplier manufacturing capabilities to ensure defect free supplies at HMCL- Drive For Timely Execution Of Plan & Periodic Performance Review Suppliers- Execution Of Improvement Activities At Suppliers- Plan QAV Visits At Supplier End To Ensure Process Adherence & Verification Of Actions Done Against Non Conformities found at HMCL3. Ensure 100% adherence of SQA processes such as (inspection system, problem solving system, NC closure & supplier upgradation) through DQM strengthening in engine section.4. Formulate and monitor KAI/KPI based on organization\'s ABP5. Ensure development of new models by timely approval of product, process and system at suppliers .6. Provide Inputs For Robust Design In New Model Parts Based On Existing Issues.- Evaluate New Model Part Drawings & assess Development Process- Review DFMEA, PFMEA- Implementing APQP & PPAP, DAP For ADC Parts, Pokayoke- Q Standard approval, Inspection method development- Inspection facility & other infrastructure development at HMCLA Day in the lifeOn a day-to-day basis your activities will include the following-
Coordination with internal and external stakeholer such as SS&SC,Manufacturing/Manufacturing Quality,,Project/Production Engineering for Supplier performance/part quality improvement,solving customet related issues etc.Academic Qualification & Experience

• Graduation in Engineering
• Minimum 7-8 years of experience in manufacturing, and 5-7 years in an automotive firm

Technical Skills/Knowledge

• Product (especially engine) process & systems knowledge (especially machining/casting /forging heat treatment/moulding)
• Quality Planning
