FunctionQualityPay BandE3 & belowRoleAs the Plant SQA Category Engineer Prop. you will report to the Supplier Quality Lead.The Purpose of your job is to ensure adherence to quality standards & system of proprietary (mechanical & electrical) components by evaluation & improvement of product & process quality at supplier end to ensure overall customer satisfaction.A purpose driven role for youYour key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:1)Ensure inspection of incoming parts as per plan (BOP, Spare parts etc.)
2)MIS/Report generation
3) Ensure closure of issues/deviations
4)Ensure Quality Sustenance & Improve Existing supplier/ components through
5)Audits/QAVs and gap closure
-warranty analysis
- benchmarking of Best Practices to deploy horizontally
6)Ensure Product, Process & System approval and establishment for smooth and trouble free development within stipulated time during New Model development.A Day in the lifeOn a day-to-day basis your activities will include the following-To establish the product / process quality of newmodel parts.\xc2\xb7
To maintain & improve quality level of existing model parts thorough process/ system audits at suppliers end and closure of gaps identified during audit.
Ensure adherence to Quality Standards & System of prop. parts by evaluation &
Improvement of the Product & Process Quality to ensure overall customer satisfaction & mutually beneficial customer -supplier relationships.Daily line issues handle, monitoring & way forward with an engineering solutionsPlanning of supplier product, process audit.Academic Qualification & Experience

• Graduation/Diploma in Engineering in Electrical or Electronics.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing, and 2-3 years in an automotive firm
