Function Quality Pay Band E3 & below Role As the Plant SQA Category Engineer Frame you will be part of the Quality and will report to the Plant SQA Group Lead Frame. The purpose of your role will be toEnsure adherence to quality standards & system of frame category components by evaluation & improvement of the product & process quality at supplier end to ensure overall customer satisfaction. A purpose driven role for you Your Key Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To Ensure inspection of incoming parts as per plan (BOP, Spare parts etc.) MIS/Report generation Ensure closure of issues/deviations Ensure Quality Sustenance & Improve Existing supplier/ components through audits/QAVs and gap closure warranty analysis benchmarking of Best Practices to deploy horizontally Ensure Product, Process & System approval and establishment for smooth and trouble free development within stipulated time during New Model development. A Day in the life Developing a culture of zero defect at supplier end - lack of competence, infrastructure constraints Getting the Inspection process implemented effectively through the Manpower which keeps changing every year Knowledge of New Technology components and their checkpoints at supplier end Co-ordination with internal stakeholders for Supplier performance/part quality improvement, line/assembly issues, Customer related issues, Part development, Infrastructure & facility establishment related ordering Co-ordinating with Suppliers for Process/system improvements, parts quality Co-ordinating with Audit agencies for NABL audits Academic Qualification & Experience Diploma(Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile) 5-7 years of Experience Technical Skills/Knowledge Process knowledge (Molding , Plastic & Inspection ) Quality Planning during product development stage Problem Solving & implementation of corrective actions Part inspection, Product and Process Audit competence at supplier end. Understanding of drawing requirements & independently perform dimensional inspection of parts with conventional method (First Principle), CMM, Roughness tester, Contour, Vision system, Hardness tester, Lead profile tester, Roundness tester, Profile Projector etc. Knowledge of \'APQP, PFMEA, QA Rate, QM Matrix etc. Good knowledge of CAPA / 5why sheet / Root cause analysis Behavioural Skills Strong interpersonal skills Effective communication skills Assertiveness Critical thinking Intellectual capabilities to analyse problems What will it be like to work for Hero As the world\'s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years , Hero is where you will get to work with the brightest innovators, passionate about being the best in what they do.
