The plant manager is responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met while following health and safety protocols.Job Duties :The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers expectations\xc2\xb7Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards\xc2\xb7Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping , Update day to day production entry in Tally.\xc2\xb7Monthly physical verification of Finished Goods with the data in tally and submitting the Finished Goods report to the management.\xc2\xb7Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results\xc2\xb7Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus\xc2\xb7Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions\xc2\xb7Share a trusting relationship with plant staffs.\xc2\xb7Collect and analyse data to find places of waste or overtime\xc2\xb7Commit to plant safety procedures\xc2\xb7Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and\xc2\xb7standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets\xc2\xb7 Address employees issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements\xc2\xb7Influence and learn from below\xc2\xb7Stay up to date with latest production management best practices an conceptsRequirements and skills :\xc2\xb7Proven work experience as a Plant Manager. Minimum work experience of 12-15 years in the manufacturing sector. (Preferred experience in Refrigeration Manufacturing units)\xc2\xb7Proven managerial experience\xc2\xb7Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or engineering / Diploma in engineering / ITA\xc2\xb7Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)\xc2\xb7Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.\xc2\xb7Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes\xc2\xb7Computer literacy. MS Office, Tally, etc.\xc2\xb7Ability to create accountability and to lead by example\xc2\xb7Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
