Job Description

This position is responsible for overseeing and monitoring end to end activities of related to fabrication, manufacturing management, quality assurance, installation, procurement and plant maintenance. Roles Responsibilities Managing production of tracker components like steel sections and controllers Should have knowledge of cold roll forming and other fabrication process like welding, punching, press etc Accountable for overall production planning including raw material and other bought out items stock planning Should generate and follow sound production process as per ISO standards Develop and implement proven manufacturing and production process improvement practices like Kaizen, quality circle, 5-S etc Will be responsible for overall production quality delivery of finished goods Ensure uptime of total production plant and rectify all breakdowns to reduce production downtime Will be responsible for reducing wastage and improving production efficiency Ensure the operations are in compliance with established norms and requirements with respect to SQDCEP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Environment and People) Ensure LEAN manufacturing implementation across the production lines in compliance to EHSQMS requirements Ensure standardization of components and continual improvement in processes and minimization of manufacturing expenses Will be responsible for maintenance of all equipments and machines Shall be responsible to maintain factory compliance and approvals Shall be responsible for coordination with logistics team for timely and efficiently dispatch of finished goods Shall be responsible for coordination of timely billing of finished goods. Qualification Experience Knowledge 10 - 15 years of proven experience into similar role Engineering graduate with preferably master s degree in structural engineering Proficient in sheet metal plant operations Should be from steel manufacturing industry Should have knowledge of steel fabrication codes and standards Sound knowledge of fabrications techniques including SMAW/GMAW/SAW welding, GAS cutting etc Knowledge in LEAN manufacturing concepts and process improvement methods like kaizen. Strong project management and data analytical skills. Skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate to effectively to various stakeholders including senior management Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
