Plant ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee our GFRP manufacturing facility in [Kolkata,West Bengal]. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer with 15-18 years of relevant experiencein manufacturing operations, preferably in the composites or advanced materials industry.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and

safety

• Ensure proper functioning of all manufacturing related departments from inventory to dispatch.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize departmental efficiency and reduce costs

• Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian industry standards and regulations

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

• Oversee inventory management and supply chain operations

• Implement and maintain quality management systems

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards as per Indian laws

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (M.Tech/M.E. preferred)

• 15-18 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

• Proven track record in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement

methodologies

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with ERP systems and production planning software

• Strong understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001 certification experience a plus)

• Knowledge of Indian labour laws and health, safety, and environmental regulations in

manufacturing
