The Plant HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions at the manufacturing plant, ensuring the development and implementation of effective HR strategies and policies to support organizational objectives.
Act as a trusted advisor to plant leadership and work closely with employees to foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to formulate HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
Employee Relations: Develop and maintain positive employee relations by fostering a supportive work environment, handling grievances, and promoting open communication channels.
Talent Acquisition: Manage the recruitment process for plant positions, including job postings, candidate selection, interviews, and onboarding, to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation programs to provide timely feedback to employees, identify areas of improvement, and recognize exceptional performance.
Training and Development: Assess training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and professional growth.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, minimizing potential risks and legal issues.
Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement initiatives to create a positive work environment that fosters productivity, innovation, and teamwork.
Rewards & Recognition: Foster an environment to reward & recognize for better employee engagement
Health and Safety: Collaborate with safety personnel to maintain a safe work environment, conduct safety training, and promote a culture of safety awareness.
Employee Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs and manage compensation structures to attract and retain top talent.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and provide regular reports to plant leadership.
Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve employee conflicts or issues in a fair and impartial manner.
Organizational Development: Support organizational change initiatives and develop strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
Ideal Candidate
Masters degree in Human Resources from a reputed Institute/college
Proven experience of 15-20 years in HR management within the agriculture or manufacturing industry.
Should have good experience in developing and deploying strategic HR initiatives.
Comprehensive knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Experience in LTS will be an added advantage
Should have good experience with HRIS
Should have good Proven experience in OD initiatives
Should have good experience in Compensation and Benefits Administration
Should have proven experience in Training and Development initiatives in the organization
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Familiarity with HR software systems and data analysis tools.
Passion for agriculture, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
Should be willing to wok out of Attur location - Tamil Nadu
