Job Description

This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all manufacturing-related functions in order to achieve the highest levels of quality and customer service in a safe, efficient, and timely manner utilizing the proven lean and continuous improvement techniques to ensure the achievement of Rotork\'s business goals.

This senior level position reports directly to the Operations Director covering three plants in India. The incumbent will be accountable for setting and achieving production targets while effectively and efficiently managing operations that include production scheduling and material management; supply chain and purchasing.

Through team leadership, delegate responsibility and appropriate authority, implement, coordinate, and expedite manufacturing operation schedules in coordination with the joint efforts of Engineering, Production Control, Purchasing, Customer Service, etc. The Plant Manager will work closely with the Quality and HSE team in order to complete initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory agency requirements.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Graduate with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, or the equivalent.
• 15 years\' manufacturing-related supervisory and managerial experience with exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or other formal productivity improvement programs and ISO9001 (Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt preferred).
• Sound people-oriented management skills with a proven ability to motivate and lead individuals.
• Strong systems background in MRP/ERP, project management, scheduling, inventory management and general accounting.
• Must have experience and competency using all Microsoft Office applications.
• Desirable: Experience of P&L responsibility
