Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Machinery Mechanic to join our team in Sahnewal, Ludhiana, Punjab. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the continuous operation of our production processes by conducting preventive maintenance and addressing equipment issues promptly.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with preventive maintenance schedules.

• Observe mechanical devices in operation to identify sources of problems and dismantle machinery to access and replace defective parts.

• Inspect and measure various instruments to determine changes in parts requirements.

• Start up and shutdown machinery as per production schedules to ensure smooth operations.

• Monitor equipment during operations to maintain plant stability, safety, and efficiency.

• Regularly check and adjust operational parameters such as pressures, temperature, and flows to optimize performance.

• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot process or equipment issues to prevent inefficiencies or downtime.

• Record and report important information regarding plant performance and irregularities to supervisory staff.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to uphold operational efficiency and safety standards.

• Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations pertaining to the handling of materials and operation of equipment, including maintenance of air handling units (AHUs).

Qualifications:

• Education in a related field (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, etc.).

• Proven experience of 2-3 years in maintenance of machinery within the pharmaceutical industry.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

BenefitsSalary: 18,000 - 22,000 INR per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
