Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Incharge to oversee the maintenance activities at our Cement & Steel Plant in Surat, Gujarat, India. As the Plant Maintenance Incharge, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of all plant equipment and machinery. This is a senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in plant maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Plant Maintenance Incharge in a Cement or Steel Plant.
• Strong knowledge of plant maintenance best practices and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive plant maintenance program for the Cement & Steel Plant.
• Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of all plant equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
• Manage a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and training as needed.
• Oversee the procurement and inventory management of spare parts and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
• Schedule and execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during plant operations.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
