Job Summary: The Plant Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities of a plant or industrial facility. They ensure the smooth operation of machinery, equipment, and systems by implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment failures, and managing repairs. The Plant Maintenance Engineer works closely with the maintenance team and other departments to minimize downtime, maximize productivity, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment and systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery, equipment, and systems to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, including repairs, installations, and upgrades.
• Plan and schedule maintenance work, considering production priorities and minimizing disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory of spare parts.
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of required spare parts and supplies.
• Train and guide maintenance staff on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and energy efficiency in plant operations.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in plant maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in plant maintenance, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards applicable to plant operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Continuous learning mindset to keep up with technological advancements and industry trends.
