:This position is responsible for maintenance and development of Plant Layout for medium Gas Turbine including Skids, Structures Piping, this includes Basic & Detail Design using tools like NX, Open Plant etc.This role will be a member of the R&D team and will own Plant Layout & Piping for multiple Gas turbine (GT). This position is located in Gurgaon (IND) and is responsible to develop and continuously improve Plant layout & Piping concepts for the Siemens Turbine packages. Majority of the tasks will be in R&D but also supporting execution of customer projects and site support.oriented:

• Maintenance and new development of Plant Layout for medium Gas Turbine including Skids, Structures various Piping system concepts integral for the turbine packages.
• Planning & Modeling of equipments, Piping & supports in 3d tools like NX and/or Open Plant and extracting drawings including assembly drawings for layout & fabrication at site & works.
• Preparation of BOQs, Design & Fabrication specifications for piping and components.
• Work in global project teams
• Request and challenge requirements from your interfaces
• Adapt concepts and designs to fulfill requirements (Either from customers or new/revised GTs)
• Release and maintain reference documentation in related databases
• Drive design to cost measures
• Outsourcing of design and drafting tasks to external engineering services
• Provide Field/site support.

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering or other comparable degree
• 3 to 7 years of engineering work experience
• 1 year in the related work
• Ability to travel globally
• Excellent team player to support and serve the global team

• Strong dedication to the product and willingness to own it
• Solid entrepreneurial thinking
• Solid understanding about the interactions of quality, costs and delivery time

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Expertise in comparable technical areas of work
• Expertise in NX, Open Plant, Solid works, PDS or equivalent
• Expertise in R&D
• Expertise in project engineering management
• Expertise in power generation business
• Solid experience with working in a global team
