Job Description

: As a Plant HR Professional, your primary responsibility will be to support and manage various human resources functions within the plant or manufacturing facility. You will work closely with plant management and employees to ensure effective HR practices, compliance with policies and regulations, and a positive work environment. Your role will involve a wide range of HR activities, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR policy implementationResponsibilities:Employee Relations:

• Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
• Foster positive employee relations and maintain a harmonious work environment.
• Mediate and resolve conflicts or disputes between employees and management.

Collective Bargaining:

• Collaborate with labor unions (if applicable) to negotiate, administer, and interpret collective bargaining agreements.
• Participate in collective bargaining negotiations, providing guidance and support to management.
• Ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.

Grievance Management:

• Handle employee grievances and complaints, ensuring a fair and timely resolution.
• Conduct investigations, gather relevant information, and recommend appropriate actions.
• Liaise with legal counsel, as necessary, for complex or escalated cases.

Compliance with Labor Laws:

• Stay updated on relevant labor laws, regulations, and employment practices.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as minimum wage, working hours, leave entitlements, and occupational health and safety.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in alignment with labor laws.

Employee Communication:

• Facilitate effective communication channels between management and employees.
• Organize and conduct employee meetings, town halls, and other forums to address concerns, share information, and promote engagement.
• Provide guidance and support to management on effective communication strategies.
