A Leading Manufacturing company is looking for a PLANT-HEAD. Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for all operational and administrative activities at the Plant. Is the occupier of the factory and all activities happening within the plant or that are related to the plant are this persons full responsibility. 1) Co-ordinating and updating the owners on the day to day functioning of the plant and plant related functions. Following systems and procedures in place and suggesting improvements/changes required at the plant. 2) Complete management of all the departments/work at the plant: a. Human Resources b. Production/Manufacturing/Operations c. Quality Assurance/Quality Control d. Purchase e. Raw Material/Material Handling/Stores f. Packaging g. Maintenance h. Accounting/Costing/Banking i. Excise/Legal j. Civil Work k. Administration l. Planning/Despatch m. Safety and Security The list is not exhaustive. 3) Co-ordinating/liaisoning with government departments/suppliers/customers (if required)/stakeholders for all plant and company related work/jobs: a. Excise/Customs authorities b. Labor department c. Fire department d. MIDC/MPCB e. Suppliers of packaging material/raw material/chemicals/machinery, etc. The list is not exhaustive 4) Drawing up plans for expansion/diversification, integration, automation, etc. Planning for improvements in the plant, modernization, efficiencies in operations through various methods - investing in newer technology, becoming more environmentally friendly, etc. Implementation of all the above mentioned activities would also be in this person\'s scope of work. 5) Retaining good personnel and recruiting new highly capable people to plan for a sustainable future of the company. 6) Providing inputs on other aspects of the business - Sales & Marketing, ERP systems, etc. 7) Drawing up future - 5 to 10 year plans for the company and how we need to go about implementing the same. This will need to be discussed at regular intervals with the owners and the person being recruited for the job must be competent to implement the approved plans effectively and efficiently on his own.
