1. Oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, focusing on aligning the
plant operations with the organization\'s goals.
2. Develop and execute comprehensive strategic and operational plans to ensure efficient resource ...allocation, process optimization, and timely achievement of production targets.
3. Guide the team in adoption of new technologies and methodologies related to investment casting
and enhance operational.
4. Collaborate with pre-cast, melting, finishing, purchase and logistics teams to maintain process
efficiency.
5. Coordinate the readiness of molds, patterns, and castings for subsequent production steps,
ensuring schedule adherence and quality standards.
6. Provide direction and approval for key changes and projects related to new equipment
installations.
7. Encourage and support the adoption of advanced software tools for process optimization and
operational efficiency.2
8. Ensure the preparation, accuracy, and maintenance of critical documentation such as production
reports, process documentation, compliance records, and safety regulations and gain insights into
departmental performance.
9. Analyze reports on material usage, stock levels, procurement metrics, and Plan vs. Actual
performance along with the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and ensure schedule
adherence for all development and production processes.
10. Facilitate effective inter-departmental collaboration with departments such as CTO\'s team, Quality,
Customer Support and Procurement to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials.
11. Evaluate feasibility reports, collaborating with teams to assess NPD project viability and identify
potential challenges.
12. Facilitate the integration of quality assurance processes and Lean Manufacturing principles to
streamline operations and enhance material efficiency.
13. Manage inventory levels, spare parts, consumables, and manpower optimization to ensure on-
time delivery and optimal efficiency.
14. Identify and implement strategies for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
15. Oversee the implementation and adherence to Non-Conformance Report (NCR) processes and
Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
16. Facilitate cross-functional teams in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and ensuring the
implementation of corrective actions, maintaining high-quality standards.
17. Manage compliance with international quality standards (ISO9001) and customer requirements
throughout the manufacturing and testing phases.
18. Champion continuous improvement and innovation through methodologies like SPC,
PFMEA/PFD, and Lean Manufacturing.
19. Encourage the team to identify and implement Kaizen and Six Sigma opportunities, ensuring a
culture of operational excellence and efficiency.
20. Ensure a safe work environment by collaborating with the safety department to enforce strict
adherence to safety regulations and company policies. show more
