The Plant Head for the sheet metal and tubular components, stamping and fabrication industry is responsible for overseeing the operations of the manufacturing plant. This includes managing production efficiency, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, overseeing personnel, and achieving production targets. The Plant Head will develop and implement strategies to optimize plant operations, improve productivity, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. The Plant Head will work in a company which serves as Tier 2 vendor to major Two Wheeler Manufacturing Companies HMSI, TVSM and RE.Key Responsibilities:1.Operational Management:- Oversee daily operations of the sheet metal and stamping plant.- Develop and implement production schedules to meet production targets and customer requirements.- Monitor production processes, including stamping, forming, and assembly, to ensure efficiency and quality.- Ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.2. Quality Control:- Ensure products meet industry quality standards and customer specifications.- Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures specific to sheet metal and stamping.- Address and resolve quality issues promptly, using root cause analysis and corrective actions.3. Safety and Compliance:- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures tailored to the sheet metal and stamping processes.- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure a safe working environment.4. Personnel Management:- Manage and supervise plant staff, including operators, technicians, and support personnel.- Recruit, train, and develop employees, focusing on skills relevant to sheet metal and stamping operations.- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to foster a positive and productive work environment.5. Financial Management:- Develop and manage the plants budget, with a focus on cost control and efficiency.- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.- Prepare financial and operational reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.6. Continuous Improvement:- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in sheet metal and stamping and fabrication.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement among staff, encouraging innovation and collaboration.7. Plant Maintenance and trouble shooting: - Planning and Reviewing preventive maintenance- Good Knowledge of repairs and maintenance related to Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical Press Machines and related equipmentsQualifications:- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar role within the sheet metal and stamping and fabrication industry.- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, stamping processes, tooling, and quality control.- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems relevant to manufacturing.Preferred Qualifications:- Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a related field.- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and other process improvement techniques.- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar credentials.- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and automation in sheet metal and stamping processes.Working Conditions:- The role may require working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, and machinery typical of sheet metal and stamping and fabrication operations.- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet production demands.Job Type: Full-timePay: \xe2\x82\xb9750,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb9850,000.00 per yearBenefits:
