Job PurposeManage the human and technical resources in plant, optimizing quality, costs, delivery and productivity and also lead the continuous improvement and projects. Organize and coordinate activities between operational and administrative areas in order to ensure goals are achieved. This role will include overall responsibility for production output, facilities and H&S. As we increase in size, the role and responsibilities of this position are likely to increase and develop.Key Tasks\xef\x82\xb7 Manage the manufacturing & facilities team including managing output, quality, maintenance / commercial activities and people management.\xef\x82\xb7 Contribute & implement to the rolling strategic plan for Operations.\xef\x82\xb7 HSE responsibility.\xef\x82\xb7 Interface with Design, Project Engineering, Quality, Sales & Accounts functions within.\xef\x82\xb7 Contribute to the development of the businesses to deliver stable products processes.\xef\x82\xb7 Scheduling production planning as per the machine capacity including moulding and post moulding activities.\xef\x82\xb7 Deliver the right product in the right quantity and -at the right time.\xef\x82\xb7 Keep the plant healthy and safely. Maintaining proper housekeeping & cleanness.\xef\x82\xb7 Training of the manpower to carry out different operations in manufacturing process\xef\x82\xb7 Minimize losses during manufacturing process and final packing.\xef\x82\xb7 Ensuring Internal Customer satisfaction.\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinating for mould trial as and when necessary.\xef\x82\xb7 Define Measurement Analysis Improvement and control.\xef\x82\xb7 Reduce MTTR & Increase MTBF and increase productivity\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure implementation of Quality Management System at all levels.\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor and deliver plant KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.Key Skills\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of working with Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding & Injection Blow moulding industry.\xef\x82\xb7 Strong problem solving skills (containment & counter-measure).\xef\x82\xb7 Strong experience of operations management (including expediting, lead-time reduction, inventory management)\xef\x82\xb7 Manufacturing Engineering (including plant layout, waste elimination, continuous improvement).\xef\x82\xb7 Communication, influencing, negotiating and assertiveness.\xef\x82\xb7 Quality management / delivering Customer requirements.\xef\x82\xb7 People management.\xef\x82\xb7 PC literate with Words, Excel & PowerPoint skills.Key Attributes\xef\x82\xb7 Professional and positive approach\xef\x82\xb7 Self motivated\xef\x82\xb7 Strong in building relationships and able to communicate at all levels\xef\x82\xb7 Team player, and able to work on own initiative\xef\x82\xb7 Dynamic and CreativeEssential Qualifications: Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with more than 15-20 years of experience. A Diploma in Plastic Packaging from CIPET would be an advantage.Other Duties: Specialist projects to support the business requirements of the organization. In addition, you will be prepared to carry out any other reasonable duties requested.
