Proven Skills in Leadership andSupervision Demonstrated understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles Knowledge of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Demand Creation, Inventory etc. Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills Ability to create accountability and to lead by exampleKey Roles & Responsibilities To plan and achieve the budgeted volume of production for the budgeted year To plan, organise, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customersand auditors expectations To meet the production plan and ensure that all the executable permits are executed To meet material usage, manpower usage, inventory costs, personnel costs and overheadsbudgets To ensure all the prescribed permits and quality standards are maintained on the rawmaterials, packing materials, products and the plant To ensure no stock out at any time To ensure that materials supplies are maintained without any loss of production Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimising unnecessary costs andmaintaining current quality standards To maintain peace and good industrial relations for uninterrupted production To implement various welfare activities Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense ofdirection and focus Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions To recruit, manage and develop plant staff Commit to plant safety procedures Management and statutory compliance of unit-related regulatory issues in terms of Excise,Provident Fund, Pollution Control Board and other relevant authorities To provide training to Executives, workmen in various development programmes Monthly Review Meeting with Total Production Team Suggestions, Kaizens etc. implementation Maintain efficiency in capacity utilisation Reduction in Watages Develop systems and processes that track and optimise productivity and standards, metricsand performance targets to ensure effective return on assets Address employees issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts Create documentation protocols and ensure that all records of operations are properlymaintained and reviewed Reviewing recommendations for special machinery and working with engineering teams to improve products and processes Participating in plant expansion, equipment planning and conversion Overseeing the maintenance of equipment, building, plant security and protection Monitoring and testing various plant processes Developing a preventive maintenance programme Setting performance goals and expectations Determining important key performance indicators and measuring them regularly Staying up to date with the latest production trends, technology and best practices Participating in various manufacturing-related activities, such as quality, productivity, safety,innovation, supply management and on-time shipping Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant Implementation of Quality & IRIS Management System To ensure implementation of each document as per ISO: 9001:2015 & ISO/TS/22163:2017 To improve processes & Quality & IRIS management systemMust-Have B.Tech in ECE SMT process, PCB Manufacturing and SMT Line Set-Up Experience Certifications and training related to the manufacturing domain.
