Job opening for the role of Plant - Accounts Manager for a manufacturing company. Position: Accounts Manager - Plant

Base Location: Dadra / Silvassa

Reporting To: Accounts Head - Mumbai

Years of Experience: 5 to 10yrs

Required Qualifications: Inter CA / B.Com

Industry Experience: Manufacturing

The company introduced this technology with the establishment of its first manufacturing base in Daman (Union Territory of India) in 1998, followed by a second unit in Guwahati, Assam (Eastern Region of India), and a third unit in Dadra. Continuously upgrading with new technologies, the company focuses on customer satisfaction by being cost-effective, competitive, and meeting the ever-expanding demands and delivery schedules of its customers without compromising on quality. #### Responsibilities and Duties

• Financial Reporting (MIS): Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Banking and Treasury: Manage all banking operations including cash flow, fund management, and maintaining relationships with banking partners.
• Tax Planning and Preparation: Handle direct and indirect taxes, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings and compliance.
• Audit Coordination and Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
• Statutory Compliances: Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including legal and regulatory filings.
• Book Keeping and Accounts Finalisation: Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure timely finalisation of accounts.
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: Manage AR and AP functions, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
• Inventory Transactions: Oversee and manage inventory accounting and reconciliation.
• Policies & Procedures: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Trial Balance: Preparation and review of trial balances to ensure accuracy of financial records.

### Requirements

#### Knowledge and Skills (Must Have)

• Proficiency in tax laws, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
• Strong understanding of compliances related to direct and indirect taxes.
• Advanced skills in accounting software and financial systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
