Job Title - Planning Engineer - SolarJob Location - HyderabadExperience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Planning of Solar Power plants
Qualification: B Tech/BE in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
Required Softwares skills: Advance Excel, MS Office
Proficiency in project scheduling software: e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project.Required Skills and Knowledge:
1.Develop and maintain project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project). Ensure that project timelines are realistic and aligned with project objectives.
2.Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet project deadlines.
3.Identify and analyze potential project risks. Work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
4.Assist in tracking project costs and expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets. Alert project managers to any budget deviations and propose corrective actions.
5.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project execution.
6.Prepare regular progress reports and performance metrics for project managers and senior management. Highlight any deviations from the project plan and suggest necessary actions.
7.Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, drawings, change orders, and approvals.
8.Stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in solar energy to improve project planning processes continually.
9.Prioritize health, safety, and environmental considerations in all planning activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
10.knowledge of electrical systems and solar power generation is advantageous.
11.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
