Together, were pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.Analyst I: Materials & PlanningSUMMARY: Directs the planning of production to meet the requirements of the Master Production Schedule, Intra-company component plans, Manufacturing, and New Product Development to assure efficient operations and maximum integration of these demands. Ensures manufacturing system accuracy is maintained.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with production and engineering personnel within the organization across multiple sites. Requires skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues. At this level, individuals will have demonstrated creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems, determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse planning/production activities. Negotiates necessary changes in the Master Production Schedule to smooth production operations and allow adequate time for product development and intra-company requirements without adversely affecting Finished Goods Inventory goals and Customer Service objectives.
• Coordinates the formulation of overall inventory, WIP and Kanban policies/products to achieve and maintain a minimum inventory investment and maximum customer service level. Also, formulates plans, procedures and technologies leading to the smooth flow of production orders through the manufacturing areas. Initiates, develops and implements programs in the areas of materials planning, production control, materials flow, etc.
• Assess the raw material required for production through oracle open Jobs and allocate the RM to OTD critical work orders. Plan and initiate the ordering of raw material to supplier(s). Procure and maintain Kanban for RM based on the current demand. Plan and order the material required for producing custom conjugate. Has knowledge of Planning for the reagent production unit based on forecast and On Time Delivery. Track and follow up the critical material required for meeting Customer OTD with the help of daily management. Updating the team members regarding Revenue, OTD, Backlog and Inventory KPI. Responsible to meet the Raw material requirement for production (Delivery). Track OTD, # of requests raised to suppliers on a weekly basis using daily management.
• Responsible for inventory management at warehouse, maintaining accurate status of the area(s), including demand, schedules, capacity, WIP, materials, etc. and implementing Corrective and Preventive actions as part of the Problem-Solving Process. Responsible for implementing Countermeasure for Raw material scrap.
• Provides procedures for and monitors compliance to changes of MRP parameters due to changes in demand, new production introduction, engineering changes, supply problems, excess inventories, etc. Assures adequate production planning support in new product project teams. Proposes alternative schedule(s) to compensate for foreseeable and unforeseeable circumstances in a timely manner to minimize adverse effects and capitalize on opportunities. Through operations management channels, expedites operations that delay schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Provides liaison support for intra-company requirements. Follows all standard operating procedures. Reviews and implements new standard operating procedures.
