Purpose: This is a core planning and commercial job. In Planning front, the person will be responsible for end-to-end planning of products for a set of units. He has to ensure we deliver the products within available capacity as per customer requirement. Entire planning has to be done using APO and system-based working will be the focus. In Commercial front, he has to ensure End to end Procurement & Strategic Sourcing, ensuring timely availability of quality materials, Negotiation with suppliers based on forecast, Supplier Relationship Management, and CoGS improvement & Working capital. Relevant Experience: 5 - 7 years of overall experience Supply Planning in FMCG/ Pharma, Knowledge on APO / IBP Knowledge: Analytical skills, ability to relate numbers, ability to view big picture, ability to anticipate future needs and requirements and act accordingly. SAP and APO knowledge, Pesticide industry (desirable), Scheduling Education: Graduation with PG Diploma / MBA in Operations / Supply Chain Areas of Responsibilities: Planner: Delivering full quantity at the right time from the unit and 100% commitment adherence. Micro planning based for each product at day level based on production plans. Tracking new order and giving commitment within timelines. Ensuring updating the master data related to capacity, campaign, BOM in SAP Use APO reports for enriching analysis and provide key inputs to stakeholders. Track NCM for the unit and coordinate for action plan execution. Giving visibility to sales on status of order execution. Ensuring RM/PM requirements. Giving container schedule to logistics. Optimizing man & machine utilization to achieve pre-set production targets. Productivity Improvement Vendor Management System based working - APO. OTIF Commercial: End to end Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Managing end to end Procurement of Globally managed Active Ingredients (AIs) withing the category. Developing Global AI Strategy documents for key AIs within the category Ensuring timely availability of quality materials Negotiation with suppliers based on forecast. Supporting development of new AIs for NPD launch Supplier Relationship Management Managing relationship with existing suppliers Legal interface with suppliers for executing contracts. New suppliers\' development on need basis CoGS improvement & Working capital. Execution of CoGS improvement projects in line with long term strategy for the key AIs Management of inventory and payables to meet Working capital target.
