Job Description

The Placement Recruiter is responsible for overseeing the recruitment process from job posting to candidate placement. This includes understanding the requirements of the job role, attracting candidates through various channels, screening, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process for employers. The recruiter is also responsible for maintaining relationships with clients or hiring managers, ensuring the smooth and timely placement of candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job roles and requirements.
• Source potential candidates through job portals, social media, networking events, and recruitment agencies.
• Write and post compelling job descriptions on various online platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
• Utilize recruiting tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS (Applicant Tracking System), and other candidate sourcing software.
• Candidate Screening:
• Review resumes, cover letters, and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
• Conduct initial screening interviews (over the phone or video call) to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Administer pre-employment assessments or tests if needed.
• Interviewing and Selection:
• Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Conduct in-depth interviews with shortlisted candidates to assess qualifications and fit for the position.
• Provide guidance and advice to hiring managers during the selection process.
• Candidate Placement:
• Manage and facilitate the candidate placement process, including offer negotiations, salary discussions, and contract signing.
• Ensure that candidates meet legal and policy requirements for employment (background checks, etc.).
• Follow up with candidates after placement to ensure smooth onboarding and job satisfaction.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers or client organizations.
• Understand the specific needs of clients and provide them with suitable candidates promptly.
• Advise clients on market trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring best practices.
• Maintain a high level of service to ensure client satisfaction.
• Database Management and Reporting:
• Maintain an organized candidate database with up-to-date records of candidate interactions.
• Prepare recruitment reports to track key metrics like time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source of hire.
• Use ATS software to streamline the recruitment process.
• Networking and Branding:
• Represent the company at career fairs, job expos, and networking events to attract potential candidates.
• Build and promote a strong employer brand to attract high-quality applicants.
• Develop a talent pipeline for future job openings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a recruiter, placement officer, or in a similar HR role.
• Familiarity with recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor) and sourcing strategies.
• Strong interviewing skills and knowledge of various interview techniques (behavioral, technical, etc.).
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in recruiting within specific industries (e.g., IT, healthcare, finance).
• Familiarity with labor laws and employment regulations.
• Knowledge of employer branding and candidate engagement strategies.
• Experience in bulk-hiring or campus recruitment (if applicable).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Time-to-fill for open positions.
• Candidate placement success rate.
• Client and candidate satisfaction scores.
• Number of candidates sourced through various channels.
• Retention rate of placed candidates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?5,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
