Job Description

Livelihood Officer - Placement Officer

Locations:

• Hyderabad (Punjagutta)

Role:

To build effective partnership with the employers, to facilitate the placements of fresh graduates by providing them career orientation which would lead them to a sustainable job by mapping their aspiration with the job opportunities available in the market.

Specific Responsibilities:

Have a complete understanding about the job market and generate leads.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with local employers to establish a network of job opportunities.

Expand employer network.

Actively seek, identify, and create job placement opportunities for program graduates within the local job market.

Involving in career counselling of the young people and evaluate their skills and match their aspiration with the job available.

Provide guidance and support to program participants in preparing resumes, practicing interview skills, and developing effective job search strategies.

Maintain accurate records of job placements, and employer contacts.

Generate regular reports on job placement success.

Ensure that job placements adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Desired Competencies:

Should have sector-based knowledge and market awareness and connects.

Strong partnership building credentials with ability to tailor style and methods when working with employers (and employee volunteers), training partners, specialist organizations.

Excellent team worker with strong oral and written communication skills including good level of professional English.

Well organised working style with excellent time management skills.

Willingness to work evenings and weekends occasionally as required by programme.

Ability to collect and process delivery evidence and data in line with key performance indicators for the programme.

Strong negotiator and ability to manage relationships.

Qualification and Experience:

Relevant degree or similar professional qualification from a reputed institution.

5-8 year of Experience of working with young people from underserved communities in an age group 18-25 years

Should be experienced in handling placements in Bulk.

Should have experience working with college, govt and other stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?31,000.00 per month
