Key Responsibilities:
• Employer Engagement:
• Build and maintain relationships with potential employers and industry partners.
• Identify and approach companies for campus recruitment drives, internships, and job placements.
• Organize employer visits, presentations, and recruitment events on campus.
• Placement Coordination:
• Plan and coordinate on-campus and off-campus recruitment activities.
• Ensure smooth execution of placement processes, including pre-placement talks, interviews, and follow-ups.
• Maintain up-to-date records of placement statistics and employer details.
• Student Support and Counseling:
• Provide career counseling and guidance to students regarding job opportunities, industry trends, and career paths.
• Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions on resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies.
• Assist students in preparing job applications and navigating the recruitment process.
• Alumni Relations:
• Engage with alumni to gather feedback on industry requirements and job market trends.
• Leverage alumni networks to create job opportunities for current students.
• Organize alumni interaction sessions and mentorship programs.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain a database of student profiles, job opportunities, and placement records.
• Prepare regular reports on placement activities, student placements, and employer feedback.
• Analyze placement data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance placement outcomes.
• Industry Trends and Networking:
• Stay updated on industry trends, job market dynamics, and employer expectations.
• Attend industry conferences, job fairs, and networking events to build connections and stay informed.
• Collaborate with academic departments to align curriculum with industry requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Previous experience in placement coordination, career services, recruitment, or human resources.
• Strong understanding of job market trends and employer expectations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers, students, and alumni.
