Job Summary:
The Placement Officer will play a crucial role in facilitating job placements for candidates who have undergone vocational training. This position involves coordinating with industries, managing placement drives, and ensuring that the trainees secure employment in their respective fields.
Key Responsibilities:
? Industry Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with employers and industry partners to identify job opportunities for trainees.
? Job Placement Coordination: Organize and conduct placement drives, interviews, and recruitment events, ensuring effective matching of trainees with potential employers.
? Candidate Support: Provide career counseling and guidance to trainees, helping them understand job market trends and preparing them for interviews.
? Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report placement statistics, follow up with placed candidates, and gather feedback from employers to improve training programs.
? Skill Assessment: Work with training teams to assess candidates' skills and readiness for the job market, providing input on curriculum enhancements.
? Networking: Attend job fairs, industry conferences, and other networking events to promote Valeur's training programs and explore placement opportunities.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
? Proven experience in placement services, recruitment, or career counseling.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? Knowledge of the job market and industry trends, particularly in North-East India, is an advantage.
? Proficient in MS Office and familiar with HR software.
