Job Description

The Placement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating placement activities for skill development projects, including DDU-GKY and other skill development project. The role requires ensuring that students are adequately trained and matched with suitable employment opportunities. This includes building relationships with employers, tracking placement metrics, and managing the placement lifecycle from mobilization to post-placement tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Placement & Employer Engagement:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers to secure job opportunities for students.
• Conduct employer outreach, industry mapping, and job fairs to expand placement opportunities.
• Identify and arrange job placements for graduates from skill development programs, particularly under DDU-GKY and similar projects.
• Project Management (DDU-GKY and Skill Development Projects):
• Execute and monitor placement targets and deliverables for projects like DDU-GKY, adhering to project guidelines and milestones.
• Maintain compliance with project guidelines and ensure data accuracy in MIS and other project databases.
• Provide regular reports on placement outcomes, retention rates, and overall project impact.
• Student Preparation and Training:
• Coordinate with trainers and faculty to ensure students are job-ready, conducting pre-placement workshops and soft skills training as needed.
• Provide guidance on resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of placements, salary data, and employer feedback for reporting and analysis.
• Provide timely reports on placement progress to project stakeholders and senior management.
• Post-Placement Tracking and Support:
• Track the progress of placed candidates, ensuring retention and growth in their roles.
• Resolve post-placement issues in collaboration with employers and ensure continued support for students.
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure all placements adhere to relevant standards and guidelines set forth by DDU-GKY and other project requirements.
• Document all placement activities, employer agreements, and candidate details accurately and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Management, Social Work, Education, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in placements for skill development projects, including hands-on experience with DDU-GKY and similar initiatives.
• Proven track record in managing placement activities and building employer partnerships.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of placement dynamics in skill development and rural employment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data management, MS Office, and project tracking software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift
