Piping Stress Engineer
Job Description
• Stress Analysis: Perform detailed pipe stress analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., CAESAR II, CAEpipe / AutoPIPE) to ensure piping systems can withstand operational and environmental loads.
• Design Support: Collaborate with design engineers to provide input on piping layout, support placement, and flexibility requirements to mitigate stress issues.
• Compliance: Ensure all piping systems comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, ISO) and project-specific requirements.
• Documentation: Prepare and review stress analysis reports, technical documents, and design calculations.
• Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve piping stress issues, failures, or other mechanical problems during design, construction, and operational phases.
• Field Support: Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems. Conduct field visits as necessary to assess and rectify issues.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., structural, mechanical, civil) to ensure integrated and optimized design solutions.

Pay: ?45,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
