Title: Piping Material EngineerJOB TITLE:Piping Material EngineerREPORTS TO:Director - EngineeringJOB LOCATION:Gurgaon, IndiaPOSITION SUMMARY:Candidate will be responsible for Piping Design of Technology Projects in association with KBRs Technology Business Unit at HoustonPOSITION DESCRIPTION:Responsible for the quality, budget, and respect of project schedule for piping material tasks Reviews the Clients technical documentation and requirements Responsible for the design of all piping components Issues project piping material specification and piping components data sheets Performs wall thickness calculations of pipes Issues technical bid evaluation for all piping components offers Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping components purchase orders Reviews and approves vendors documents Maintains project technical files and update Company standards Performs the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section Checks the material take off issued by the drafting office Prepares mechanical valve data sheets for the body of motorized valves The candidate should be proficient in use of International / National codes and Standards related to piping Engineering. Preparation, review and issuance of PMS, VMS, specification & standards. Responsible for preparation, review and issue of documents related to piping materials MTO for procurement, MR / PR, etc. Preparation and review of datasheets for piping specialty items Technical. bid analysis. Vendors offer / drawing review. Interface with other departments for providing design input. Interaction with Vendors / Clients / Third party members. Knowledge of relevant Code and Standards. Knowledge of ASME , API, EN, BS etc piping material codes. Highly motivated with an innovative and analytical mind. Demonstrates ability to work in a team. Prior experience in technical bid analysis.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant experience of 8-13 years in Piping Materials.
• Minimum graduate in B.Tech./ B.E.(Mechanical)
• Comfortable in travelling for work.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:Manages key business relationships with clients and with Technology Business UnitManagerial teams in India and Houston.
