Job Description

:

Piping Engineer.


• Work within the FGS Technical Support Group in the provision of detailed fabrication drawings of Fiberglass Piping for manufacturing and installation, provide consultation on customer Piping ISO's and BoM's relating to Glass Reinforce Epoxy (GRE) product supply for Marine, Offshore and Industrial.
• Review project requirement and specifications.
• Liaise with engineering and sales team members to ascertain project requirements.
• Review and consult customer drawing to comply with GRE product design.
• Liaise with Drafting team to produce detailed drawings and BOM's from Layout, ISO, or Spool Piece drawing.
• Attend Design Reviews - with Client and/or Peers.
• Take a lead role in project progress reporting of product supply with customer and other Engineering disciplines inquiry.
• Be responsible for review, checking and approval of peer's work.
• Review completed work to ensure accuracy, non-ambiguity and conformity to specification.
• Carry out assigned duties within given timescales.
• Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy.
• Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
• Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years in Mechanical Design/Piping/Piping manufacturing/Piping Installation role.
• One or more of the following


+ Structural design.
+ Piping design.
+ Project Management of EPCIC
• Fully conversant with AutoCAD.
• 3D modelling experience are advantage.
• Microsoft Office suite.
