JOB TITLE: ATP (Piping Engineer-Material)

REPORTS TO: Director - Engineering

JOB LOCATION: Gurgaon, India

POSITION SUMMARY:

Candidate will be responsible for Piping Design of Technology Projects in association with KBR\xe2\x80\x99s Technology Business Unit at Houston

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for the quality, budget, and respect of project schedule for piping material tasks
• Reviews the Client\xe2\x80\x99s technical documentation and requirements.
• Responsible for the design of all piping components
• Issues project piping material specification and piping components data sheets
• Performs wall thickness calculations of pipes.
• Issues technical bid evaluation for all piping components offers.
• Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping components purchase orders.
• Reviews and approves vendors documents.
• Maintains project technical files and update Company standards.
• Performs the inter-disciplines checking for the part of documents in accordance with the scope of piping material section.
• Checks the material take off issued by the drafting office.
• Prepares mechanical valve data sheets for body of motorized valves.
• Should be proficient in use of International / National codes and Standards related to piping Engineering.
• Preparation, review and issuance of PMS, VMS, specification & standards.
• Responsible for preparation, review and issue of documents related to piping materials MTO for procurement, MR / PR, etc.
• Preparation and review of datasheets for piping specialty items
• Technical bid analysis. Vendor offer / drawing review.
• Interface with other departments for providing design input.
• Interaction with Vendors / Clients / Third party members.
• Knowledge of relevant Code and Standards. Knowledge of ASME material & API piping codes.

• Relevant experience of 1-5 years in Piping Design.
• Graduate in B.Tech./ B.E./MTech (Mechanical l)
• Comfortable in travelling for work.
• Female candidates are preferred.
• Highly motivated with an innovative and analytical mind.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a team.
• Prior experience in technical bid analysis

• Manages key business relationships with clients and with Technology Business Unit
• Managerial teams in India and Houston.
