Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.The RoleAs an Piping Engineer with Worley, you will provide Piping Engineering services to Worley, and its customers and may provide technical support within the Piping team.Ensure compliance with various ASME, API & IBR codes and standards
The Lead Piping/Layout Engineer co-ordinates all the piping design and equipment layout functions to meet the objectives of a Project.
Responsible authority over, Senior Piping Designers, Piping Designers, and Piping Draftspersons assigned to the discipline.
Specific Accountabilities.
Organize and manage the technical workload of team of piping designers within the parameters of a project schedule.
Control, monitor and progress the piping design deliverables including Equipment Layouts, Piping General Arrangements, Piping isometrics, & where applicable Pipe support details to an agreed project schedule.
Identify and advise on the resource requirements for piping design team.
In conjunction with the CAD group establish the preferred method of producing deliverables using in house CAD modelling and drafting systems.
Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising across the organization with members of other disciplines and departments.
Create an awareness and willingness to work in break through and partnering environment.
Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems.
Safety - Responsible for personal safety and working within the OHS&W procedures.
QualificationsAbout You:To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry with specific.
Good Communication Skill. English Fluent in Speaking and Writing.
Good Team Player. Self-Motivated with a Drive for Results, Improvement, and Innovation.
Bachelors degree in engineering in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
