Job Description

The Piping Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using AVEVA P&ID software. This role involves collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient design documentation for various industrial processes and systems.P&ID Development:

• Create and modify P&IDs using AVEVA P&ID software.

• Ensure P&IDs comply with industry standards and project specifications.

• Incorporate feedback from engineering teams and other stakeholders.

Design Coordination:

• Work closely with piping engineers, process engineers, and other design professionals to gather requirements and ensure design accuracy.

• Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical) to ensure consistency across all design documents.

Documentation and Standards:

• Develop and maintain design documentation, including P&ID drawings, legends, and schematics.

• Ensure all designs adhere to company standards and industry regulations.

Review and Quality Control:

• Perform checks and reviews of P&ID drawings to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.

• Conduct design verification to ensure all P&IDs are accurate and complete.

Project Support:

• Assist in the preparation of design packages for construction and installation.

• Provide technical support during the construction phase and assist in resolving design-related issues.

Software Proficiency:

• Utilize AVEVA P&ID software efficiently to create and modify diagrams.

• Stay updated with the latest AVEVA P&ID software features and best practices.
