Key Responsibilities :

- Instruction:

- Plan and deliver engaging piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced.

- Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs, goals, and learning styles.

- Teach music theory, sight-reading, and performance techniques.

- Prepare students for recitals, exams, and other performance opportunities.

- Student Development:

- Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.

- Maintain detailed records of each student's achievements and areas for improvement.

- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment to help students build confidence and a love for music.

- Curriculum Development :

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Usicly's piano curriculum.

- Stay updated on current teaching methods and music education trends to incorporate innovative practices into lessons.

- Parent and Student Communication :

- Communicate effectively with students and parents about progress, expectations, and any concerns.

- Provide guidance and support to parents on how to assist with practice at home.

- Professional Development :

- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills.

- Stay current with developments in the field of music education.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a piano teacher, with a strong background in both classical and contemporary piano repertoire.

- Proficiency in music theory, sight-reading, and performance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching music.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students.

- Familiarity with online teaching platforms and tools is a plus.
