Job Description

•The primary responsibility of the faculty member is to impart comprehensive knowledge and foster a deep understanding of fundamental concepts in the subjects of Physics among students in grades 8 to 10.•

Key Responsibilities:

• As an IIT Foundation Faculty member, your primary role will be to serve as a bridge between X Class (typically referring to high school) and Intermediate levels, preparing students for the challenges of higher education, particularly in engineering and medical fields. Your responsibilities will include:
• teaching materials and methodologies that align seamlessly with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring that students gain a deep understanding of core concepts while meeting educational standards.
• Emphasize concept-based learning over rote memorization, fostering critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities among students.
• Implement project-based learning approaches to provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience, reinforcing theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
• Familiarize yourself with the patterns and formats of entrance exams like NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and JEE (Joint Entrance Examination), and tailor your teaching methodologies to align with these patterns to better prepare students for success.
• Ensure consistency between teaching methods and the patterns observed in NEET and JEE exams, allowing students to become familiar with the exam formats and requirements.
• Conduct regular assessments to gauge student understanding and progress, and analyze the results to identify areas of improvement and tailor teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to students, recognizing the pressures they may face during their academic journey, and help them maintain a healthy balance between studies and other aspects of life.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in education, teaching methodologies, and relevant subject matter to continually enhance your effectiveness as a faculty member.

Qualification and skills :

• Bachelor's degree Physics or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of the subjects covered in the IIT JEE & NEET syllabus, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring students for the IIT JEE & NEET exam preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students, and a commitment to helping them achieve their academic goals.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate student schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
