We are looking for a Physics & Chemistry Teacher to join our team of teachers at Academic Heights public school. This role requires them to teach children of classes 8th - 10th. We are looking for an experienced teacher who has previously worked in CBSE schools. Apart from teaching, preparing lesson plans and preparing question papers for students will be a part of the job. In-depth knowledge and experience teaching the relevant subject is mandatory.

A high school teacher is also expected to come up with creative project work for the students to engage the students better in the subject. Using tact and diplomacy, the teacher should be skilled to understand the students' requirements and address them. Teachers should also have prior experience in using technology to deliver the content better. Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Physics - Chemistry & B.ed or D.ed is mandatory
• Teaching certification for the level at which you will be instructing.
• Work experience as Physics & Chemistry Teacher in CBSE School.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of CBSE policies and procedures is a plus.
• Deep knowledge about the subject and the ability to implement the lesson plans is a must
• Strong leadership skills coupled with excellent oral and written communication Skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact, diplomacy, and mature judgment.
• Strong desire to learn and stay creative is highly appreciated.
• Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students' acquisition of basic and advanced computer skills.
• Instructing in a manner that develops students' confidence in their abilities.
• Need to update themselves with the updated softwares
• Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the schools plans, curriculum and scheme of work
• Preparing lesson plans and deadlines for the syllabus to be completed in a timely manner in tandem with the guidelines set by the school and regional office.
• Setting up observation modules to track individual student progress and translating the same to the coordinators and principal.
• Analyzing the students' performance and taking necessary steps to improve student growth.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievement of assigned students, making accurate and productive use of assessments
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strength and needs of students

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
